In Attempts, I try to alternate more substantial essays and lighter fare. The more substantial essays are all tagged Essays. I have further subcategorized those into a few essays which ought to give a slight hint about their subject:
There will probably be the occasional overlap, especially between “reviews” and the other categories.
On one occasion, instead of an essay, I put up a work of fiction.
The lighter fare is also divided into subcategories:
Bricolage (posts with links, quotes, and briefer thoughts)
Meta (posts about Attempts itself)
Retcon (posts about my short story series)
Whimsy (things that from a long way off look like flies)
